Current Officers

President: Laura Kelly

Laura is a senior at UCF, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Pure-Track Mathematics and Spanish. Upon discovering Swing Knights one year ago, she became immediately addicted to the joy of swing dancing and all derivatives of Lindy Hop. Never one to turn down a dance, Laura always aims to dance each song in a night, and welcomes anyone to ask her to dance, if she doesn’t get to you first! Feel free to ask her about our lovely group.

Vice-President: Katie Dye

Katie is currently pursuing a degree in anthropology. Although she has wanted to learn how to swing dance ever since she saw a performance in while in the third grade, she did not have an opportunity to fulfill this goal until ten years later when she enrolled at UCF. She has not stopped dancing since. She encourages anybody and everybody to ask her for a dance and is looking forward to continuing to be a part of the scene here.

Events Coordinator: Leian Robinson

Leian Robinson is an English Literature major at UCF. She began swing dancing about 2.5 years ago and simply couldn’t stop. She’s friendly! Talk to her! She needs your input if you want to have cool events.

Public Relations: John Poulard

John Poulard has been studying at the University of Central Florida since 2008. He plans on
graduating in the near future, with a degree in History. John has been dancing since he
came to UCF, and always strives to improve his basics. Do not hesitate to ask him to dance!

Technical Secretary: Aaron Seals

Aaron is currently working on his BA in Graphic Design, along with his other BA in General Business. He’s been swinging with the Swing Knights for nearly a year and has over a year and half of ballroom experience. He enjoys dancing with all skill levels and is always working to get better. Aaron is very honored to be an officer and wants to serve the Swing Knights in the best way possible. Feel free talk to him or shoot him an email. See you on the dance floor!
